Week 5 Our Generation

I interviewed my mom because she looked like someone who can be interested in my  project.  What surprised me was that back then from her experience it was very difficult and different on how to donate money. Like how she said that before "money was very difficult to get, and once you got it even harder to give it away." What i learned from the conversation is that our generation today is very lucky to be able to donate money very easily, unlike before which was very unlikely to donate to an organization.

Who to choose

What I learn about various way to invest in a company is that I have to look at certain things. I have to look at the tax returns and how the money they recieve is being used. To see how much of the money is actually helping them and how the rest goes to managment and other materials. I see more value in just seeing how they are useing their money for their cause. I find it difficult because its very hard to decide who needs the money the most. You want to give the money to a charity that needs it the most and that isn't being well supported. Its also hard because many charities have different causes that need money to change an animals life, and we can only choose one.

Learning more about organizations

What I learned about my organization is that they all have a different cause. We are very undecisive on what organization we want to help. We have the Humane Society, Paws and Pitbull Rescue San Diego. All those just want to stop the cruelty we just don't know what to choose. Its important because we need to see if our numbers are going to make an impact.
